April 2012 ~ Spring Into Life
We are now officially in Spring. If you live in the southern parts of the United States, the flowers are already blooming and the birds are singing each morning. Other parts of the country may be still waiting for the flowers to bloom.
This is the time of year when we feel the promise of what is to come - as the creative forces come alive after a long winter.
This is the time to plant seeds — physical seeds or metaphorical seeds.
It’s time to get our garden ready and connect with the Earth and all of Nature. It’s time to think about what we want to see growing in our garden this year.
It’s time to think about what we want to happen in the garden of our lives — the hopes and dreams we want to manifest this year.
Whether working with a physical garden or the
garden of our lives, it is time to till the soil, plant the seeds (if you are in
the warmer parts of the country) and to prepare to nurture our seeds once they
are planted.
This month, take time to be in Nature, to feel the power of the creativity as the flowers bloom, the trees form their buds and show their gentle green leaves.
Also, take time to sit with yourself and pay attention to what is yearning to grow in your life.
The season of Spring sets us on a course that will grow and develop throughout the entire year, so it is important to set our seeds clearly. There is still time to adjust if the first seeds don’t work out. The important thing is to spend time in Nature and with our own process of setting intentions, and adjust as necessary.
