about Moving On http://www.equotesaboutmovingon.org/
1) You will receive a body
You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time
around.
2) You will learn lessons
You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called "life." Each day in
this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or
think them irrelevant and stupid.
3) There are no mistakes, only lessons
Growth is a process of trial and error (experimentation). The "failed"
experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately
"works".
4) A lesson is repeated until learned
A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you
have learned it, you can then go on to the next lesson.
5) Learning lessons does not end
There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are
lessons to be learned.
6) "There" is no better than "here"
When your "there" has become a "here," you will simply obtain
another "there" that will - again - look better than "here."
7) Others are merely mirrors of you
You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you
love or hate about yourself.
8) What you make of your life is up to you
You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The
choice is yours.
9) Your answers lie inside you
The answers to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look, listen and
trust.
10) You will forget all this

"SECTION II. We the General Assembly of Virginia do enact
that no man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or
ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burdened in his body
or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer, on account of his religious opinions or belief but
that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in
matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their
civil capacities." (Thomas Jefferson)

If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and
endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected
in common hours.
He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and
more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old
laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live
with the license of a higher order of beings.
In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less
complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness
weakness.
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they
should be. Now put the foundations under them. (Henry David Thoreau)

If there is light in the soul,
There will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person,
There will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.

People are illogical, unreasonable and self-centered;
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today, will be forgotten tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable;
Be honest and frank anyway.
Give the world the best you have to give and you get kicked in the teeth;
Give the world the best you have anyway.

The spiritual quest is that part of life which is the path within the
path. Spirituality is the sacred center out of which all life comes, including Mondays and Tuesdays and rainy Saturday afternoons in all
their mundane and glorious detail.
e. e. cummings

- Thou shall not worry, for worry is the most unproductive of all
human activities.
- Thou shall not be fearful, for most of the things we fear never
come to pass.
- Thou shall not cross bridges before you come to them, for no one
yet has succeeded in accomplishing this.
- Thou shall face each problem as it comes. You can only handle one
at a time anyway.
- Thou shall not take problems to bed with you, for they make very
poor bedfellows.
- Thou shall not borrow other people's problems. They can better
care for them than you can.
- Thou shall not try to relive yesterday for good or ill, it is
forever gone. Concentrate on what is happening in your life and be
happy now!
- Thou shall be a good listener, for only when you listen do you
hear different ideas from your own. It is hard to learn something
new when you are talking, and some people do know more than you do.
- Thou shall not become "bogged down" by frustration, for
90% of it is rooted in self-pity and will only interfere with
positive action.
- Thou shall count thy blessings, never overlooking the small ones,
for a lot of small blessings add up to a big one.

- In this life I need to make my own magic.
- I must teach myself what I need to know.
- To be happy, I need to accept and love myself without any
conditions.
- To get what I want, I must give what I want to receive.
- To have respect, I need to treat myself the way I want others to
treat me.
- I need to remember that I am constantly creating my life with my
dreams.
- Likewise, I need to remember that I have the power to change my
life in an instant.
- I know that I am a victim of no one and no thing.
- Change will come only when I completely accept how things are.
- In order to grow, I must stretch beyond my comfort zone.
- My present power lies in the present moment and no where else.
- I can grow from being happy as well as from being unhappy.
